Losses to Newcastle United, Chelsea and Manchester United have interestingly all been inflicted upon Unai Emery's side on home soil at Villa Park but the bigger picture shows that the west midlands club have lost just three out of their previous 15 games overall in the English top flight which must surely place the visitors in a strong position to claim another three points this Saturday evening at Kenilworth Road.

Aston Villa have lost just twice in their last 10 away matches whilst picking up five win. What is remarkably interesting is that Villa have scored two or more goals in six of these 10 away games! This will be very daunting for the shaky Luton Town defence.

Premier League this weekend

This weekend has some fantastic fixtures lined up, including Arsenal Vs Newcastle & Brighton Vs Everton.

Suffering last second Champions League frustration away at Porto earlier in the week, Arsenal will be seeking an instant response here. Champions League round 16

The weekend marked the end of a very short-lived era of backing the favourites for guaranteed profit. Bookies had lost fortunes over the previous full two week due to an extremely unheard-of number of favourites winning matches. Luckily for the bookies, they never had to wait long!

Tottenham now sit two points clear at the top of the table for the third week and are playing with confidence, beating Palace away 2-1 after conceding a 94th minute consolation goal from Palace’s Jordan Ayew.

Manchester City have a chance to take number 1 position this week due to the football schedule. City face Bournemouth at home on 4th November, whilst Arsenal take on in-form Newcastle away in the later kick off. Spurs will have to wait to face Chelsea in the late Tuesday evening game.
